Jens Nielsen is the Founder and CEO of the World Climate Foundation (WCF). Since establishing the Foundation over 16 years ago, he has focused on bringing together leaders from government, finance, and industry to accelerate the transition to a sustainable global economy.
Under his leadership, WCF has become a globally recognised platform for cross-sector collaboration, convening decision-makers who shape policy, mobilise capital, and drive industry transformation.
Jens founded flagship platforms including the World Climate Summit and World Biodiversity Summit, and helped establish coalitions such as the Climate Investment Coalition, which mobilised a US$130 billion clean energy commitment.
He previously held senior roles at PwC, Cision PR Newswire, and Mitsubishi Electric, and serves on multiple boards. Jens is a frequent speaker at global forums including COP, Web Summit, and Climate Week.
