World Climate Foundation at COP31

From 9 to 20 November 2026, the global climate community will convene in Antalya, Türkiye, for COP31.

COP31 comes at a pivotal stage for the climate agenda, as updated commitments and shifting economic conditions place delivery, and alignment across policy, capital and markets, at the centre of global coordination.

For over 16 years, World Climate Foundation has worked alongside COP Presidencies and global partners to convene leaders across policy, finance and industry, strengthening the link between negotiation and execution.

At COP30 in Brazil, Belém, we advanced this approach through the World Climate Summit & The Investment COP and the World Climate Impact Hub in the Blue Zone, platforms that convened stakeholders around shared delivery priorities. We’re carrying this momentum forward to COP31, where alignment must translate into scale, and collaboration must deliver measurable impact.

At COP31, World Climate Foundation will host the next World Climate Summit, our flagship convening bringing together global frontrunners, senior decision-makers, institutional investors, corporate leaders, and multilateral actors.

In parallel, we will maintain a dedicated presence within the Blue Zone, facilitating action-oriented dialogues and networking that connect national priorities with practical implementation and investment pathways.

Together, these platforms form an integrated COP31 engagement, supporting alignment across sectors, reinforcing cooperation at a moment of geopolitical and economic complexity, and contributing to the delivery phase of the global climate transition.

Looking Ahead to Antalya

COP31 unfolds against a backdrop of intensifying climate impacts, evolving global trade dynamics, and increased scrutiny on delivery. Antalya provides a platform to deepen cross-regional cooperation, accelerate financing mechanisms, and strengthen the link between policy frameworks and real-economy transition.

Our role is not to duplicate formal negotiations, but to reinforce them by convening the actors who influence impact before, during, and after COP.

World Climate Foundation’s engagements at COP31 will focus on:

  • Advancing climate finance mobilisation and investment readiness.

  • Supporting implementation across energy, nature, resilience, and industrial transition.

  • Facilitating structured dialogue between governments, financial institutions, corporates, and solution providers.

  • Strengthening international cooperation at a moment when alignment matters.
