Mobilising institutional capital for climate investment.

Climate Investment Coalition (CIC)

The Climate Investment Coalition brings together governments, institutional investors and market actors to address the barriers preventing capital from reaching climate solutions at the scale required.

The challenge â€‹

There is significant global capital available for climate investment, but too few opportunities meet institutional requirements for scale, risk and return. Closing that gap requires stronger pipelines, enabling policy and coordinated investor engagement.

€130bn mobilised

At COP26, the Climate Investment Coalition facilitated a €130bn commitment from 42 Nordic and UK pension funds towards clean energy investment by 2030.
