Aligning Leadership for the Implementation Decade
The World Climate Sessions: Davos mark the opening of the World Climate Foundation’s 2026 global programme, bringing climate and nature to the centre of economic and geopolitical discussions alongside the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.

Building on the outcomes of COP30 in Belém and supporting the Global Climate Action Agenda, the Sessions create a platform for leaders across government, finance, business, and civil society to align around the key challenges of the decade.
Why Davos?
Davos provides a unique global platform to position climate and nature at the centre of economic, financial, and geopolitical decision-making.

Guided by the WEF Global Risk Report 2026, the World Climate Sessions address climate instability, ecosystem collapse, technological disruption, and geopolitical fragmentation as interconnected risks shaping global stability.

The focus is on how finance, policy, and technology interact to either amplify risk or accelerate solutions - positioning climate and nature as core pillars of economic resilience and long-term prosperity.
