Impact Coalitions

The transition economy is being built now. The question is whether your organisation helps build it, or adapts to it afterwards.

The summits are where the work becomes visible. Our Impact coalitions are where it gets done.

Our Impact Coalitions are the engine room of the transition - sector specific, multi-year alliances designed to move industry frontrunners through the transition - faster, and with less risk than navigating it alone.

WHY LEADING ORGANISATIONS JOIN

What Our Impact Coalitions Deliver

Curated Access

Most transition solutions stall not from lack of ambition, but lack of access. WCF connects your organisation directly with the ministers, investors, and executives who are moving things forward, not just swapping business cards.

STAGE  0

Implementation

PRE-COALITION

The structured pre-launch stage that builds market credibility. WCF maps strategic stakeholders, defines coalition scope, and secures the anchor partners needed to trigger the delivery cycle.

STAGE  1

Defining

BUILD COMMITMENT & SHARED KNOWLEDGE

The coalition agrees on what the real problems are. WCF facilitates that process — through regional analysis, white papers, and structured convenings — so members aren't wasting time building solutions to the wrong problems.

STAGE  2

Scaling

UNLOCK SOLUTIONS & PATHWAYS

Cross-sector implementation pathways are co-created. Policy, finance, and market mechanisms are aligned, bridging the gap between sector need and capital mobilisation.

STAGE  3

Impact

DRIVE ACTION AT SCALE

Pilots launch and solutions scale across regions. Progress is shared through measurable KPIs and reporting, enabling systemic change in the real economy.

[...] if we can raise $55 billion from Danish pension funds alone, imagine what we can achieve if more countries are to join us? That is why we decided to create the Climate Investment Coalition. We work to bring governments and institutional investors together to mobilise and accelerate investments in the green transition.

Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Denmark, at the COP26 Climate Investment Coalition announcement

Nature Investment Coalition

The Nature Investment Coalition (NIC) aims to promote the financing and implementation of nature-positive investments that prioritise environmental protection, biodiversity conservation and the restoration of global ecosystems. It seeks to build a collaborative platform of public sector, civil society, finance and industry leaders to mobilise and deploy nature-positive financing. Financial commitments of $100 billion will be aligned to contribute to the 2030 Breakthroughs, Sharm el Sheikh Adaptation Agenda and the Global Biodiversity Framework goals.

There is no easy answer, no silver bullet. We need to start reflecting on how we change the way we live, because replacing fossil fuels means changing the way we live, not only changing the technology.

María Susana Muhamad González, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Government of Colombia

Future of Mining Coalition

The Future of Mining Coalition (FOMC) is a high-level global initiative that aims to strengthen the sector’s resilience and strategic role in the green economy. It convenes public and private leaders to accelerate collaborative, pre-competitive projects that advance the mining industry, its value chain and wider economic impact. Its focus spans 21st Century Mining Operations, Biodiversity & Nature Adaptation, and the Circular Economy, driving innovation and sustainable transformation across the sector.

In the lead-up to COP30, the Future of Mining Coalition unites frontrunners across mining, energy, manufacturing, and finance to deliver credible, collaborative action before this decade’s investment window closes. The relevance of the mining sector in the current fragmented geopolitics scenario and its essentialism for the energy transition demonstrate the urgency for coordination and action in a global high Capex sector.
