Context
Current global issues are inevitably seen through the lens of the ongoing pandemic, including global warming and loss of biodiversity. Focus on how we lay the foundations for the world to emerge safer and more resilient on all fronts.
10 years exist to ensure that global temperatures stay within the limits of the Paris Agreements on Climate Change. While the biodiversity arena still needs to build basic institutions for target setting and public-private collaboration, the threats from loss of biodiversity are nonetheless just as imminent.
Cross-sector dialogue and partnerships in the environmental arenas will guarantee the world finds solutions.
