We are looking for a goal-oriented and driven individual to join our fast-moving and international team for a 6-month full-time internship. You will be able to support and contribute actively to communications of several high-level projects and international climate and biodiversity conferences. This internship will allow you to develop key skills needed in preparing strategic communications plans, content development and coordination, stakeholder engagement, effective B2B communication and much more.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

​

  • Provide our partners with high-quality service, project execution and communications deliveries.

  • Coordinate communications and marketing deliverables for sponsor and partner agreements

  • Support communications team in developing and implementing communications strategies that align with the organisation’s objectives

  • Maintain and update relevant working project databases, systems and plans

  • Source and coordinate content from staff and external stakeholders

  • Contribute content to websites, newsletters, announcements, etc.

  • Engage key audiences through social media (facebook, twitter and linkedin) and coordinate content creation and analytics

  • Assist with interviews, content creation and coordination

  • Assist with the preparation, proofreading of sales brochures and other promotion materials

  • Assist with on-the-day communication activities during events (live and digital)

  • Perform research and market analysis activities as needed

  • Support on miscellaneous communications and administrative tasks

 

Qualifications

​

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or journalism

  • Excellent communications skills (both written and oral), fluency in English is a requirement 

  • Strong writing and editing skills, experience in topics of sustainability, climate change and public private partnerships is considered a strong advantage

  • Understanding of current digital marketing strategies and tools, including social media platforms

  • Some experience in marketing and website development (Wix or WordPress) is required

  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration as well as act independently

  • Comfortable coordinating multiple projects at once, while demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with press and community contacts

  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is considered a strong advantage
